Savvy Auntie

Remember when you were a fun aunt instead of a neurotic mother?
Well, I forgot until I logged on to SavvyAuntie.com. Wouldn't it be great if there were sites for other aspects of your lost self? Maybe a website dedicated to fun, professional singles who peaked in the '90's. What would that be called, TheClintonYears.com?

Don't forget the uncles. As one of Melanie's uncling experts at SavvyAuntie, I can testify that sometimes being the favorite uncle is a pretty valuable pedestal.
Last night, in fact, the kids were allowed (as they always are) to choose who gets to read to them before bed. I was over my brother's house for dinner and I GOT TO READ for the first time.
Cool isn't a strong enough word for the emotions I felt. And I think I've secured my 'favorite' status for a while longer. At least until my rich brother in-law brings them gifts.
Nice stuff. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. and I bet their mom loved that you were chosen! My favorite uncle was the one who worked for Beech-nut. We got candy every time we saw him!
It's a long story, but I never really got to the auntie I could have been, and I feel like I missed out on a lot. Maybe now, with the advent of Web technologies, I could be a virtual auntie. Or would that be creepy?
