Dressing For Your Second Pregnancy

I’m not going to kid you: Sometimes I crack myself up. This is one of those times.

How do you dress for a second pregnancy? Is it different than the first one? Now that I’ve been through it, I am more easy-going with the process. As in, I’ll suddenly realize, “Oh yeah, now I can’t fit into clothes or through a doorway.” Whereas when I was pregnant with Viv, every few weeks it was “Oh my God, what happened to my cute little tush??”

  1. Long time reader here, but never deared to comment, however this VLog cracked me up!! My first pregnancy I spent a way to much money on cute preggo clothes!! And kept them for the next time around. When the next time came it was a whole 2 seasons late for the wardrobe. Anyhow, wasn’t feeling the sexyness, first time pregnancy feeling I had with the first, so much so I refused to by new pregnancy clothes and just let the belly hang out over the summer…. I know!! Gross! I look back at pictures and cringe. I was comfy!!

  2. I think that the first time around you think- “Oh, I’m so cute when I’m pregnant!” The second time, you’re all, “Meh.” You know, happy to be there, but not needing to put it all out there for everyone to see.

As a side note, I think you could wear a couple of those hoochie first pregnancy tops under a jacket- not the spaghetti strap ones (the first two you showed)- god no! I don’t think those should ever see the light of day again. That’s just me.

  3. i think that i dressed more like a pregnant person my 2nd pregnancy then my first. my first i wore wat was comfortable except if i was goin out or something.

  4. STFU…you are dressing ME for my next pregnancy. Target can cover it. And I’ll get to show off all my fiber-one snacks, low carb calorie packs (only 15 grams, thank you!)…and my awesome, gets better every year CLEARANCE furniture. 100% hard wood. Bam!
