I am 6 months, one week. Rebecca. TAKE IT EASY! Triathlon!! Let that be part of your "getting my body back" sked.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and they are all different so respect what is happening with this one.
I take a moderate walk about 3 times a week. and one pilates class...oh, keep my 3 lb weights by the tv. But, that's it.
I can wait to be Madonna, etc.

I was at the hospital Tuesday night for the same thing, although I waited a week to go in. I had similar orders but haven't been so good at following them... and am still having cramping/contractions.
I was so sick with this pregnancy that I was admitted for 5 days. I LOST 27 pounds, so at 29 weeks, I am still well in the negative. Because I was so sick, I went from doing a triathlon the week before I found out to barely moving for months. I started trying to walk/jog a while ago... but am inconsistent.
With my first pregnancy, I was sick, but not like the 2nd time. I swam/jogged/worked out until I had preterm labor at 32 weeks and was placed on bedrest. I got quite large then and so did the baby!
How far along are you? Good luck!

I went into preterm labour at 30 weeks - stayed on reduced activity at home for the rest of the pregnancy. I gained 27 pounds total weight. Keep your water intake up up up and get some great catalogs, books and movies to pass the time. Cramping is really really scary, isn't it? Wishing you well.

I stayed on track for weight gain but right at the end I had a lot of swelling. I ended up gaining a total of 33 lbs.

Take advantage of the situation! With my first pregnancy I had preterm labor and with the second I had high blood pressure. I ended up on bedrest with a 2 year old to take care of. I had to drag him to biweekly ultrasounds and doctors appointments. It was hell. Take care of yourself! Don't let the situation get any worse.

I had that with my last pregnancy and oh yes it was so nice to take it easy. By the third trimester I was on weekly monitoring and partial bed rest. I could sit up and move about the house some what. I also had to drink a gallon of water a day, I kid you not. A gallon. I lived in the bathroom. You are right, every pregnancy is so different. Take it easy, don't push it! Take care.
