Can't Wait NOT To See This Movie

This is one of my biggest beefs with the movie industry: Violent and kids-in-peril movies are not going to get me out of my house, into a car, looking for parking, spending $12 a ticket and $5 for popcorn to sit next to strangers. The movie industry is hurting? Wah-wah, then quit making all these downers that scare me and keep me up at night! Bring on "Sex and the City," or James Bond. That's what this mommy likes.
OMGosh Daphne I totally agree! Several of my friends have mentioned Changeling to me and I just cringe. No doubt AJ is awesome in the movie - she is a superb actress (just don't like her choice in men) - I digress - but I just can't bring myself to watch a movie that I know doesn't have a happy ending with this subject matter. As a mom of an almost 5 year old son, how could I watch that w/o becoming so bothered and disturbed? My husband would have to commit me! I'd never let my precious boy out of my sight.
