Pregnancy Pain

Okay, now that I am 30 weeks, I’m getting more front heavy. Still on my WADDLE WATCH, my feet are still landing in a parallel fashion. But my boy pitches himself forward, and I go, “oof!” and need to physically hold up the bottom of my tummy. Isn’t funny how you can be feeling fine, and then suddenly a shift and… and… I gotta sit down.

Definitely have more muscle cramps with this one, but SO FAR, the sleep hasn’t been as hellish as with Viv. But then I still have ten more weeks to go. The warm bath and the heating pad on the back have been key to my well-being, much like floating in a friend’s pool in the summer heat of the waning days of my pregnancy with Vivien.

The feet are still the same size. Phew.

  1. im 30 weeks too, i feel enormous. Plus he’s my first! Love the hot baths though, don’t know where I’d be withouth my tub x

  2. don’t worry your body can come back. the lines under your eyes from fatigue with a newborn are harder to shake! you won’t always be huge.
also, remember try to keep your shoulders back. especially with nursing they start to round forward.

  3. We moved to a new place on 7/31. My due date was 8/5 (Yes we are crazy). On 8/2 Lovely Hubby scrubbed and cleaned the whirlpool tub and I had the most awesome bath ever. On 8/3 at 1:59 am, my little guy was born. hehe. I was so stressed out from the move and didn’t relax until the bath. I think that was when the little guy decided it was safe to come out.

  4. it’s funny cause when I was carrying Viv it was mostly in the summer ( the big months) and I just wanted to be in someone’s pool.
so, the key is water. it’s the temperature that changes!
