Days away… I have been thinking a lot about what I want to do differently from my last delivery. But I also have to stop myself from trying to overplan, even if it’s trying to correct things from before. ‘Cause it could be so different. And as much as I want a nice experience for me, I really want my little boy to come out healthy and screaming. The rest is gravy. Of course I’d like to be healthy too. I just saw an Oprah where the mom got a flesh-eating virus, so now I have to worry about that too. Harumph.

I don’t have any song suggestions but when I was recovering from open heart surgery a couple of years ago – right when I was starting to feel like sitting up – the one of the nurses would NOT STOP talking to the other about how hot her body-building husband was.
There I was, sitting in my chair, practically a vegetable from the anesthesia and the painkillers and the irritation was too much. I had to tell her to ZIP IT since it was disturbing me .She totally took it in stride and later apologized. So telling them to shut is appropriate and if it bugs you, tell them.
Not sure of your music taste, but I really like the tunes from Celtic Thunder, especially “Nights in White Satin”. I find them soothing and refreshing.
