Mom of a Mom Blogger

It's the return of MY MOMMY! If you were coming to this blog a year ago you might have seen my dear mom Morency making a few appearances. To catch up those who haven't seen her before, she is a Minnesota-born, wise, steady woman who raised three daughters, has 4 grandchildren, and has taught and mentored students in the over 30 years she has run her private school.
I taped four little vlogs with mom the other day. Please note my sterling production value… mic hanging openly, too-large photo distracting between the two of us (which is of my engagement party by the way).
I'll play the other three soon.
You know what? I love this. I absolutely love the wisdom of older people. They know so much, and are so interesting to listen to.

I have no idea how mums coped BC /Before Computers! We are so lucky that we have so much online support and information! I just can't imagine how it could have been..madness!

I was about to say the same thing as Renee. How freaking cool is your mom?! My mom doens't read my blog and yes she knows about it. She says she doesn't have time… even though it is mostly pictures of her granddaughter. Can your mom adopt me? Or at least come and read my bog?

What a supportive mommy! My whole family reads my blog. Love the support, but sometimes I wish I could say what I really wanted to without fearing judgement from the family.
It's great to see your Mom again,Daphne! I think she was in the very first video blog of yours I saw,when I stumbled upon your site last summer,I think it was. Been a fan ever since.

Love your site, even though I'm not yet a mom. And meant to say something a while back about this super-popular topic…good for you for standing up to the mean a-holes who would attempt to trivialize your family's financial setback. I admire your candor and ability to remain open (and hilarious) in the face of adversity.

This is just too sweet. Your mom seems like an absolutely lovely woman and–I know this sounds corny–but I can totally see how much she loves you and how much you love her. Really touching.
