I think that most mom's have their priorities straight--kids/spouse/family first--and we tend to put ourselves waaaaaay down on the list after work and chores etc. So when we have an opportunity to take some rare "Me" time, we should enjoy it, refresh ourselves and then go home to our families and appreciate them even more. I remember after my divorce I had a friend of mine ask me if I was lonely when my ex-husband had my daughter for a couple of days. And although I would miss my daughter tremendously, I reveled in that alone time because it was so rare for me. And I didn't feel guilty and still don't. I'm a better mom now because I'm able to recharge when needed and focus solely on my children when they need me. @BeingSuper Amen Sister!
