Feeding Time

Comments (12) Share

I also thought of titling this "Why Nursing Is Easier." It shows what is going on at mealtimes. I still nurse, but am trying to feed him finger feeds and such three times a day, per doctors orders.

As I write this I'm so toast. Kind of ran out of places to get Rex down for bed in our current home. It's late, and I haven't even tried to then get Vivien down. I want to eat something first. I'll write more when I'm not exhausted and my back doesn't hurt. Oy.

So funny!!! You have captured the unappreciated part of motherhood that no one sees, knows about, appreciates, except for us.

Oh, I remember those days..I had 2 in high chairs, one year apart, and I'd go from high chair to high chair: and would just about lose my mind before the meal was over.

I knew it was going to be good today when I saw the still of Rex with noodles all over his face. Love it!! I'm watching it again, b/c I love it when the cereal spills all over the floor. Mark has got to see this one.

    LOL a year apart, woof.
everything is a mess, mom's a mess, baby is a mess. the unsung thing about breastfeeding: it's tidy.

Aww he's so cute. They get big so fast, can't believe my son will be two in 3 months… Rex makes me want to have another baby, maybe I should stop seeing his videos, LOL.

I literally just laughed out loud like a lunatic when he knocked over the canister and you said "Don't worry, Momma will clean it up"

I have a 6 1/2month old and this could have been shot at my house….thanks for the laugh! I have been a lurker for quite a while - we were pregnant at the same time - and I loved your blog - but this particular video I had to comment on.

I want to feed her foods, and for her to have lots of food experiences, but I really do find myself thinking "Can I just skip it today and just giver her a bottle?" I don't, but it is tempting sometimes!

thanks all for loving the Rex boy!
Yes, Fa, please don't go crazy.
Julie, nice to know people on the same timeline. I don't make the three meals like I'm suppose to every day. Sometimes it's not possible. If I get to 2 I think it's pretty good.
Dad brought home a savory tart tonight from the restaurant. I know Rex is my son because he loved it. bacon, onion and potato delish

So, so cute! Moanna is about two and a half, if you don't take her plate from her when she says she is DONE she will throw it on the floor. I'm waiting for her to outgrow this… I've been waiting for a year and a half

    Hey Daphne,
Long time lurker, first time commenter.
OMG, Rex looks just like Mark! He is SOOOO adorable. Makes me want to have another baby (for about 10 seconds and then I snap to). : )
    xoxo,
    Jill

So true about breastfeeding being tidier and easier…and it was SO comforting and just a time to REST! Awwww. I miss those moments… :_-( single tear.
