Headbands

The irony here is that I critique fashion on my TV show and in Star magazine. What works when people play dress up and are thin or have stylist is not hard. But to achieve a nice look when you still have a spare tire from childbirth and are in Momcognito, now that's harder.
Further irony, I'm shortly going to help the gal who won the Momversation makeover pick out her winnings at Target. Those who can't do teach…

Well you have great hair so you don't need a headband!
I feel the same way you do–and always have, even pre-motherhood. I never feel well put together–well rarely, like when I really REALLY try, but it doesn't come naturally.
I have nightmares about this! I'm not girly, and I can't pull of the "cute thing". I will never be one of those girls that can just throw something on an look amazing with no effort. Some girls are cute in sweats. I look like a mom in sweats who is falling apart at the seams.
Scariest part of it is, I have a very girly two year old. I don't know what to tell her about makeup and hair and fashion. Daphne, when you are done with Viv's consultation, can you send her my way.? Moanna has a a fairy party to attend, and she needs advice that mommy can't give her.
oh my gosh i have been saying this forever….
wanting to be like one of THOSE girls. effortlessly stylish. like they just seem to get up and put on a t-shirt and sweatpants but somehow make it look cute and trendy, whereas i just look… well..
not cute and trendy.
do you mean it's not going to happen when i grow up?
