Paper Dolls

Posted by Daphne on Monday, January 11th, 2010

When organizing his drawers I saw this velvet pantsuit Rex had.

He had worn the pants, but why had he not sported the blazer with patches on the elbows!  It gives me a lift to dress him up in these sophisticated duds.  And note Vivien's dress.  I bought at Saks when I was in NY.  It was on sale.  Once a year my mom use to take us to Saks (the one in LA). Hey, I'm a traditionalist.

Yes, my son does look like one of the Van Patten's, but maybe he will be a tennis player.

Oh, wow… he's looking all grown up in his tennis suit ;) Just adorable!
Hope you're enjoying the opening of your new restaurant!

And the Saks tradition…hhhmmm…that's a GREAT idea!!! I might start something like that myself!! tee hee… ;)

BTW, when you went with your mom, did she only buy stuff on sale or some regular priced things?

She did buy regular priced things. I remember the panties were really pretty. They were in a glass case. The kind of service that doesn't exist anymore. I mentioned these trips to her recently and she said, "I'm so glad you remember them".

Yes, we are enjoying seeing other people enjoy it.
