I would definitely keep a few around for her to play with in the future when she starts writing, I bet she would love them. When I was little I loved having my name on all my crap; signs for my door, toy box, bed, bike, everything!

I’m the same way with thank you cards. My 5 year old has been sending them since he was born! Around age 2, I started writing them, then giving him a crayon and saying, “Please write a Thank you to Mimi for the new toy.” He’d scribble away. That way, I felt like he was learning the process. Now that he’s 5, I have him write “Dear Name” and “Your Friend, Name” sometimes with an extra word or two thrown in. I think once he’s in 1st grade, I’ll make hiim write the whole thing.
