I had never heard of this tradition until this morning. You say no offense the religious but did you know that this tradition is actually based on faith? A bit of history and a faith lesson: Easter is the time when Jesus rose from the grave so we could die to our old selves and be clothed in His righteousness. so the new clothes symbolize new Life :) So definatly no offence taken from that!
