		<description>Hey after 10+ years of marriage we each still have our own accounts.  Almost everything else is merged, and not a lot goes into my other account, but I feel your pain and it would be weird to give it up!</description>

we use the 3-account system.  the bulk of our money goes in a joint account that pays for everything related to house and kids, and after determining how much the &quot;house&quot; requires, we each get an allowance in our personal accts to spend as we please.  this allows each of us to spend freely from our own discretionary funds.  we like it this way!</description>

		<description>Not easy to do! We did it, but I kept my own as well. Why? Not sure. I&#039;m a lawyer - I can say with certainty there&#039;s no legal distinction - he still has rights to my separate account. It just makes me feel good knowing it&#039;s there. Ahhhh......modern love!</description>
