I thought about going to see fireworks, but also thought there would be some on post... but there aren't any fireworks on post...cuz of all the PTSD. Oooohhkay. So I took my kids to the very deserted park...came home, went to bed, then got up & took my oldest to the ER. Pretty sucky weekend overall. We're lucky to have some extended family/friends with young adult children who always take the lead on the fireworks. It's going to be a great holiday for us.
