Anywho...I had some teddy grahams out for my kids, and some other kid came up & I looked for a mom to approve or disapprove, and when I didn't see one, I went ahead & fed her. As she's taking one, I'm like, "Hey, what's your name?" She tells me. "Don't strangers have the best treats?" Yeah! When her mom found her (20 minutes later...I'm not perfect, but REALLY?")...I was like, "It's alright, I gave her teddy grahams, she's not crying, and now she thinks strangers give yummy treats." ::smile:: My friend sitting next to me laughed. HARD. The girl's mom did not. We had a hand-me-down Frog and Toad book in the mix, and so she'd look at the pictures and I'd make up wildly inappropriate story lines to amuse myself: Frog and Toad and the French Culinary School! And the next chapter: Frog and Toad Get Fitted for Prosthetics! I also read aloud to her from whatever book I was reading at the time.
