This was one of my favorites. I posted it in 2008, but I actually did this bit in stand up starting in ’05. It always did well. But, it’s much better with Vivien next to me. Comedy clubs frown upon bringing your kids with you, which is one of the reasons I do Cool Mom instead of stand up.
Now, I would have to add my nearly 19 month old to the joke. Look at Vivien! OMG, in two years she has changed so much. That is my little kindergartner!

My youngest has been “my almost 3 yr old” for about 6 months now. She will officially be my 3 yr old at the end of the month.
I do stick to the “months” thing in the first year…Beyond that it’s “She’s 1…She’s almost 1 and a half. She’ll be 2 soon.” Etc.
I love this!! I always felt like such an idiot when i was pregnant trying to keep the weeks thing straight only to get the confused look from all of my friends who had never been pregnant before. Now that my son is 15 months
i think i will just say “almost a year and a half”. As someone who sucks at math i would appreciate if everyone did this and stopped making me figure it out in my head. The video was hillarious by the way–your daughter is adorable.

I was in the elevator at work the other day and one woman asked the other woman how far along she was now. She answered “23 weeks, 4 days” It took a lot to hold it together in the elevator. Did this woman really think she needed to know down to the DAY?
