And talk about beginner’s luck – it rained our first game. We showed up without umbrellas, just our coffee cups and chairs. Luckily, our girl rocked the entire game without complaint (wish I could say the same for mom and dad). What an initiation for us.

Always have a blanket in the car, extra sunscreen, extra water, sunglasses, just never take the chairs out of the car, as a matter of fact!
shade? hahaha. up here, in western washington, soccer is all about the mud, because it’s raining during the majority of the games! my daughter’s team, the Red Hot Frogs, have been playing together for 5 years now and they’re all really good about not complaining about the weather… unlike us parents!
No matter the ending is perfect or not, you cannot disappear from my world.
