Too funny!
Once on a trip to Hawaii, I bought my then 3 year old daughter and I matching Hawaiian print dresses and I made her wear them with me everywhere. It was adorable. To me.
Later, I thought about how I would DIE if my mom had ever made me do such a thing. And all I could say was “Eh! She’ll work it out in therapy later.”
@BeingSuper
I’ve had so many fears lately with regards to my children as grown ups. I almost feel guilty for bringing them into a world where people they love will get hurt or die. It’s like I never pondered the harsh realities of life before I had kids or when they were little. But once you experience the pain of a loss it’s like, what did I set them up for? Most adults aren’t prepared for the pain of loss, they’ll someday experience that.
Thanks for always being real, dark, and funny.
I could sit and watch nothing but you and Rex play all day.
No kidding.
Play away, Daphne, they become 14 and 16 before you know it.
What I wouldn’t give for just one more time of “wanna come in the castle?”
