Am I raising a bad boyfriend? ( worries of a loving mother)

Noman Bates or dream guy? What kind of son am I raising?  How do you mother a little boy with an eye on manhood.  A loving, attentive mother is going to make the best, happiest boy, right?  But, what am I doing to his future girlfriend ( or boyfriend)?

I’m besotted with my son, but the world won’t be…

Do you ever think about how you are crafty a future lover/partner/spouse?

  1. I agree Daphne, a loving mother makes for happy grown men! And they make great husbands, but start loosening the apron strings around 18……..(well, maybe it should be more like 6).

  2. Ohmygosh Daphne.. no.. I do not think about this. I think about getting through the week and keeping my boy in one piece. My only standard of parenting is keeping him alive and making sure he laughs heartily each day. We put way too pressure on ourselves.. way too much..

  3. Oh, scary for the future Mrs. Rex, she will have to work so
    hard.
But the future Rex seems kind of sweet.
I don’t care for those eye glasses. I really think you
should get contacts. Or maybe you don’t need them at all.
This is really very funny and I do love all the characters you
    do.

  4. Oh gosh…am I raising my daughter to be a good girlfriend? She has her hitting and kicking spells…hmmm…that might not be good. Last night she pulled my hair. But then she was an angel this morning – exciting and happy about getting ready for school. Maybe she’ll at least keep those boys on their toes.
